Overview

Welcome to HackReason ‘22!

HackReason ‘22 is a UT Dallas exclusive hackathon sponsored by Professor Gopal Gupta’s lab. It challenges participants to develop applications that rely on simulating human-style common sense reasoning using the s(CASP) system developed at UT Dallas. The only skill you need to participate is proficiency in programming!

The competition will run for 24 hours, starting from 1 PM January 14th to 1 PM January 15th. Teams will then have an extra hour to put together all submission requirements and submit the project at 2 PM on January 15th.

Teams sizes are limited to a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4. If you wish to be in a team but do not have one yet, don’t worry! We will be providing a platform for networking with other participants on the HackReason Discord at 3:30 Pm (CST) on January 12.

You can start the hackathon by attending the opening ceremony on January 14th at 11:30 AM using this Microsoft Teams link.

Participation Eligibility

HackReason ‘22 is only open to undergraduates, graduates, and young professionals attending the University of Texas at Dallas and who have taken Data Structures.
